Design research and exploration
We started by interviewing patients, nurses and clinic staff to understand where the existing booking process broke down. Long phone queues, missed reminders and endless paperwork came up again and again.
From those conversations we mapped the full patient journey and pinpointed the moments where a calm, reassuring interface could make the biggest difference.

Sketches and wireframes
Paper sketches let us explore layouts quickly with real users before committing to detail. We tested several navigation patterns and kept the one older patients found easiest to use.
Project results
The finished app gives patients a clear, friendly space to manage their care. Larger type, strong contrast and plain language make it accessible to everyone, and clinic staff now spend far less time on the phone.
